Building Rentals & Events

Normal Lodge is ideally suited for your event or ongoing activity where you need an indoor or outdoor venue. The building has a conference room, dining hall, large meeting hall, and a large kitchen. The building is all on ground level, and completely handicap accessible. No steps to climb or bulky elevators to use. A large open grass lot sits next to the lodge and can be used for your outdoor activities. The city of Normal, also has a ball diamond and childrens park located directly across the street.

Our new building is located in what was once the "Illinois Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Children’s School & Home". A few buildings from that time are still standing and in use today. Ample parking is located in the parking lot located on the back side of the building. The grounds of the Lodge Hall are decorated with rose bushes, shrubs and blossoming trees. In the winter months, the parking lot is kept clear of snow & ice by the City of Normal, and our grounds crew are always ready to keep our walkways and sidewalks clear & open.

The Lodge is located a few block north of Illinois State University, and is easily accessible from Interstates (55), (39) & (74). Located in north Normal, the lodge is minutes away from downtown Normal, Veterans Parkway, shopping centers, local restaurants, and city attractions. Downtown Normal has two new hotels to serve those staying in the area. The city's Transportation Hub is also located in downtown Normal, and has access to CityLink Buses, a Trailways Bus Stop, and Amtrak Station.
