- Integration - leadership development and management education are intrinsically linked as approaches to enhancing individual, group and organisational capability. The theory and practice of leadership and management development are likewise mutually informing.

It is the aim of BLR to publish the ongoing debate surrounding these issues, in order to foster a community of interactive learning from all its stakeholders. Constructive comment is welcome on all articles, irrespective of its origin or focus. For example, practitioner comment on the suitability of more academic theory could provide a new and useful angle on the issue. Contentious issues in leadership and management education are encouraged in order to stimulate discussion and further debate.
